Using Natural Materials
Natural & Emotional Candle

Let's enjoy a richer scent with natural blending by putting a scent that goes well with the cinnamon scent into the candle.

01
Preparing Materials
- Prepare | Scale, Stainless Beaker, Hot Plate, Stainless Pot, New Soy PB App.200g, Fragrance Oil 50ml (Tree House), 10 Short Cake Base Mold, Cinnamon Stick 1pack(100g), Preserved Lath, Wick Tab 15mm x 6mm, White Cotton Wick 5m, Thermometer, TSSA Design Band(Small)
02
Melting Wax
Melt app. 200g of wax for making 2 cinnamon candles (Please note that it may vary according to size of various molds.)
03
Measuring Fragrance Oil
Normally 10% of candle weight is enough for fragrance oil. Based on 200g of melted wax, pour about 20g of fragrance oil at about 83~85℃ . Stir well for a minute.
04
Pouring Into a Mold
Pour to fill about 2/3 of mold at 80℃. ** In a space with a severe temperature difference, such as in winter or summer (a space where an air conditioner is used indoors), lightly preheat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun or a heat tool before use in order to make a cleaner surface. If the temperature changes rapidly as the wax touches the mold, air bubbles may form on the surface, as if pouring low-temperature wax.
05
Decorating with Cinnamon Sticks
When the wax has half-hardened to white on the translucent surface, insert cinnamon sticks in a natural feel to the rim except for the central part where the wick is to be placed. At this time, you can use various dried flowers such as orange slices, eucalyptus, and rabbit tails, or preserved flowers.
06
Pouring for the Second Time
While inserting cinnamon sticks, gently poke the center of the mold to check for any shrinkage. When the remaining unpoured wax is at a temperature of 85℃, pour the to the end of the mold through the second pouring to make the surface smooth.
07
Making a Wick Hole
The back part of the wood pick makes a wick hole when the was is almost hardened. Turn it left and right to secure a enough path so that the wick can fit well.
08
Fixing Wick & Wick Tab
For a natural look, use a cotton wick without a wax coating. For stable use, tie a know and insert into the wick tab. Tighten the neck of the wick tab with a plier.
09
Taking out from the Mold
After solidifying completely without the warmth of the wax, remove the candle from the silicone mold simply by pressing the bottom part of the silicone mold with hands.
10
Decorating the Wick
Firmly press the wick tab on the part that will be the bottom surface to fix it, and tie the wick on the upper part in a natural half-ribbon shape to create natural feeling.
11
Decorating
Decorate the candle with various labels and packaging materials to suit your concept and taste, such as strip, transfer paper, or label. In the photo, TSSA Band (Small) was used to wrap the candle and neatly finished.
