Making a Portable Fabric Mist

Spring is coming, the season when the sun is warm and the flowers are in full bloom.
In preparation for the upcoming season, we make a portable textile perfume
that allows you to enjoy the scent of flowers resembling spring even after going out.

Introducing the blending ratio of the fabric deodorant base and
fragrance oil that have been tested for deodorizing power against 4 types of odors,
and the process of putting it in a secret perfume case so that it can be used even after going out.

Create a portable textile perfume to change the smell of food that
permeates your clothes after eating out or the stench in your space into a pleasant scent.

Need to Prepare

Fabric Mist Base (Fiber Deodorant) 500ml, 100ml Pipette Glass Bottle, Fragrance Oil (Peony Blush & Suede) 20ml, Castor Liquid Solubilizer CW-S 20ml, Silver Secret Perfume Case, Disposible Plastic Pipettes, Glass Rod, Mini Funnel, Glass Beaker 100ml, Gray D'ESPACE Label (Small)

Weigh Out The Fragrance Oil

(When fragrance is 1~2%) Measure 1~2ml of Fragrance Oil based on 100ml Pipette Glass Bottle The Fragrance Oil and solubilizer are measured in the same amount as the Fragrance Oil.

* In the photo, 2% fragrance standard, 2ml Fragrance Oil, and 2ml solubilizer were measured.

** Since Fabric Mist contains many water-soluble components, it is difficult to solubilize (dissolving a liquid or solid that is difficult to dissolve in water in an aqueous solution containing a surfactant) as the amount of oil increases.

Weigh Out The Castor Liquid Solubilizer

Based on a 100ml Pipette Glass Bottle, measure 2ml of Castor Liquid Solubilizer with a Disposible Plastic Pipettes and put it in.

* The ratio of Fragrance Oil and Castor Liquid Solubilizer is 1:1 or 1:2.

Mix

Stir with a Glass Rod for at least 1 minute to thoroughly mix the Fragrance Oil and Castor Liquid Solubilizer.

* Even if emulsification is done well, it may turn cloudy due to different characteristics of each Fragrance Oil.
It can be used if the floor is not separated. If you want to use a clear emulsifying oil, mix a small amount
of the Fragrance Oil with the solubilizer and then mix it with the Fabric Mist Base to test.

Weighing the Base

Weigh 96ml of Fabric Mist Base in a beaker.

Mix

Add the Fabric Mist base to the previously mixed Fragrance Oil and Castor Liquid Solubilizer.
Mix well enough to avoid layer separation.

Container

Pour the Fabric Mist Base from the Beaker into a container using a Mini Funnel.

* As the fragrance may deteriorate, it is recommended to store it at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

Attaching Labels

Attach the D'ESPACE Label (Small) that matches the fabric mist.

Using Containers – Detaching the Secret Perfume Glass 1

Rotate the case from side to side based on the line, and the spray will appear rising up.

If you hold the spray part raised up and pull it, the case and glass are separated.

Perfecting a Portable Fabric Mist

After subdividing the finished Fabric Mist into the Silver Secret Perfume Case, put the subdivided containers into the Silver Secret Perfume Case.
(The capacity of the Silver Secret Perfume case is 8ml.)
