Linen Sachet Pouch

Create a Linen Sachet Pouch to give to a loved one with a seasonal scent.

Our Modern Linen Pouches are made from 100% linen,
and the weave of the fabric allows for natural air circulation to bring a subtle scent to your space.

Made in a flap style to prevent the contents from falling out,
the linen pouches are filled with scented Natural Cypress Cubes and Natural Sachet Stones
can be placed in a variety of spaces such as closets, drawers, cars, bathrooms,
and more for a little everyday scent therapy.

Need to Prepare

Supplies | Natural Sachet Stone, Herb Bag for Sachet, Modern Linen Pouch, Fragrance Oil(Hinoki), Scale, Glass Beaker, Blass Rod, Ziplock Bag, Kraft Scent Record Labels(wide), Ivory Decorative Sheet, Clear Cover + Craft Mini Pie Box, 5ml Pipette Glass Bottle

Weighing Natural Sachet Stones

Measure out 10 grams of Natural Sachet Stones in a beaker.
10 grams of Natural Sachet Stones will make approximately 2 Linen Sachet Pouches.
(100 grams will make about 18 to 20 Linen Sachet Pouches)

* What is Natural Sachet Stone?
Sachet Stone is a natural stone produced by heating mica ore at 1000 degree Celsius.
It is very lightweight, reminiscent of styrofoam or sponge, and you will see the woody and silvery-grey pearly colors. Although it is a natural stone, it is very light and has many pores, so it is very suitable as an air freshener
because it has the property of absorbing and re-scenting fragrance.

Scaling Fragrance Oil

Measure out approximately 10 grams of fragrance oil. The ratio of Natural Sachet Stones to fragrance oil is 1:1.
(In the photo, we added a total of 10 grams of Hinoki Fragrance Oil per 10 grams of stones.)

* If you use an oil with a high viscosity, dilute it in a solvent to ensure that the pores of the Natural Sachet Stones are not clogged and that it is well absorbed.
** The solvent serves to control the consistency of the oil and can be ethanol or a perfume base mixed at 50%.

Stirring

Using a Glass Rod, mix the fragrance oil well to evenly coat the surface of the Natural Sachet Stone.

Aging

To allow the pores of the Natural Sachet Stones to absorb the flavor, seal them in a ziplock bag and allow them to age for about a day. If you skip the aging process, the oils may remain on the surface and drip or stain the herb bag.

Add to Herb Bag

Well-aged Natural Sachet Stones are less likely to have the oiliness of the fragrance oil on their surface.
Use a spoon to scoop well-aged Natural Sachet Stones into the Sachet Herb Bag.

Close The Herb Bag

Place your hand on the outside of the Sachet Herb Bag, just under the wing, and flip it over to cover it.

In a Modern Linen Pouch

Place the finished Sachet Herb Bag into the Modern Linen Pouch.
One Sachet Herb Bag is sufficient, but you can add up to two Sachet Herb Bags if you want a stronger scent.

Subdividing Refill Scents

Add the fragrance oil to a 5ml Pipette Glass Bottle.
(In the photo, we used the Hinoki scent.)

Packaging

Place the Modern Linen Pouches in the packaging box and finish with a label.
(In the photo, I used a Clear Cover + Craft Mini Pie Box and decorated it with Kraft Scent Record Labels(wide)
