Diluting a Solid Form Aroma Chemical

When starting with highly concentrated, 100% raw steering chemicals,
it's important to understand the nature of the raw material and then dilute it with a solvent.
Here's an example of how to dilute a solid form Aroma Chemical.

Prepare

Preparation | [856] VANILLIN 20g, [3011] DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL (DPG) 1L, Steering Electronic Scale 0.01g/500g,
Reagent Spoon, Glass Rod, Glass Beaker 25ml (2ea), 20ml Pipette Glass Bottle, Mini Funnel

Weighing

Using a reagent spoon, measure out 5 grams of colorless Solid Form [856] VANILLIN raw material into a 25 ml glass beaker.

Metering Solvents

To a 25 ml glass beaker containing [856] VANILLIN powder raw material.
Tare the steering balance and set it to zero (T), then add 5 g of the solvent [3011] DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL (DPG).

* Tip. How to Use Steering Scale Zero [T]
Turn on the power and place the item you want to measure on the scale.
If you press the [T] button, it will show '0g' and you can only measure the weight of the ingredients, not the weight of the container.

Mix

Using a glass rod, stir the powder well to dissolve it.

Heating

The use of a hotplate may be necessary to ensure the complete dissolution of solid-form materials.
To avoid breaking glass beakers, use a hotplate with adjustable temperature control.

Bottling it up

Finish by transferring the fully dissolved ingredients into the prepared 20 ml glass vials.
A mini-funnel can be utilized in a small-mouth vial for convenient pouring.

Labeling

Labeling them with the names of the ingredients and the solvents used to dilute them is a handy way to keep them handy.
