Make Peach-Scented Mini Diffuser

Create a Mini Diffuser for Small Spaces

With the start of a new year comes the desire to clean and organize your home and
make changes to the space you spend your time in.

The term "Deskterior" has recently become popular, not only in offices but also in personal work environments, beautifying the area around your desk to increase work efficiency and reduce stress.

In January's Candleworks DIY recipe, you'll learn how to make a mini diffuser to add scent to your desk decor.

Need to Prepare

Material | Diffuser Base 100ml, Heavenly Peach 20ml, LE BLANC 50 DIFFUSER GLASS, Pink Diffuser Fiber Sticks (3mm x 25cm), Magenta (Pink) Liquid Dye (Oil Soluble), Orange Liquid Dye (Oil Soluble), Mini Steering Electronic Scale 0.01g/500g, Mini Funnel, Glass Rod, Glass Beaker 50ml, Versatile Metal Pick 2mm x 15cm, Gold Oval Label (Medium)

Weighing the Diffuser Base

Before making the diffuser, lightly clean the glass beaker and the empty bottle you will be using with rubbing ethanol or diffuser base to remove any microscopic dust.

Place the 50 ml sanitized Glass Beaker on a Mini Steering Electronic Scale, zero it, and add the Diffuser Base.
Using a 50 ml capacity diffuser glass, you will need 40 grams.

* Conversion to g, a unit of weight, may differ from ml due to the different specific gravity of water (its relative ratio to the density of the substance it is based on).

Measure Fragrance Oils

Place on a Mini Steering Electronic Scale, zero it, and measure out 10 grams of nectarine fragrance oil.

Diffuser Base : Fragrance Oil (8:2) ratio

Tip. For mini diffusers used in small spaces, we recommend an 8:2 ratio instead of the usual 7:3 ratio to control the degree of fragrance.

Colorizing with Peach Fuzz

Using a Glass Rod, stir the diffuser base and fragrance oil thoroughly, then prepare the colorant to create the peach fuzz color to match the Nectarine Fragrance Oil.

To create the peach fuzz color, use a Magenta (pink) Oil-Soluble Liquid Dye and an Orange Oil-Soluble Liquid Dye.
Using a Versatile Metal Pick, add small amounts of the mixture to a glass beaker and stir to check the color rendition.

Putting it in a Mini Diffuser Glass

Transfer the colored diffuser solution to a LE BLANC 50 DIFFUSER GLASS.

* The diffuser can be used without aging, but if you don't like the distinctive alcoholic flavor,
we recommend aging it for 3-7 days with the lid on before using.

Decoration

Add the sticks to the finished diffuser, which has a peach scent to match the Peach Fuzz color, and label it to complete it. Cut the diffuser sticks with scissors to fit the size of your diffuser glass.
