Candle Color Guide
Choosing the right color product is important depending on your candle design and the desired color effect.
For natural gradients or versatile color combinations, we recommend oil soluble liquid dyes, which allow you to adjust color intensity with precision. For molded candles that require a vivid and even solid color, solid color chips are a good choice. Pigment chips can be used for making dipping candles and carved candles.
For an easy way to achieve basic colors or repeatedly create candles in the same color, color blocks offer a convenient option.
* Color Combination Tip
Combining two or three colors can create a clear Christmas theme while keeping the overall candle design balanced and polished.

Candle Design Techniques
The same mold can create completely different designs depending on the color intensity, color combinations, and techniques you use. Explore these design techniques to add a fresh look to your existing molds.
03-1. Gradation Through Color Intensity
This technique uses a single color at different dye concentrations to create a gradual transition from light to deep shades.Divide the same melted wax into several containers, adjust the amount of dye in each one, and pour each shade into the mold to create a gradual change in color intensity.
For oil soluble liquid dyes, use a multipurpose metal pick to add small amounts of dye at a time for precise color adjustment. For solid color chips, crush them into small pieces and add them gradually until you achieve the desired color.
03-2. Outer Layer Gradient
This technique creates a contrast between the outer surface and the center by first coating the inside of the mold with a thin layer of uncolored wax, then filling it with colored wax.Rotate the mold to evenly coat the inner surface with uncolored wax. Color the remaining wax using solid color chips, then fill the mold to complete the candle.
This technique works especially well with Christmas tree molds, creating a soft winter look reminiscent of freshly fallen snow.

03 3. Other Design Techniques
Even candles made in a single color can be transformed into more distinctive designs by adding details or selectively coloring parts of the surface with decorative candle pens or alcohol inks.These simple touches can add visual interest and give a plain candle a more unique look.
