Rectified Pine Tar
Burnt, Resinous, Woody, Smoky
Rectified Pine Tar oil with smoky woody notes, reminiscent of campfire, combined with rich leather and smoky notes.
Typically, Birch Tar (burned birch) is commonly used to add such notes to a perfumery palette.
CW' Pine Tar is refined for use in candles, perfumes, etc.
Compared to Birch Tar, it has a more prominent woody scent, heavier, and less burnt smell.
It can give a leathery accent to fougère notes and cologne fragrances. Use in very small, diluted amounts.

The characteristics of CW Rectified Pine Tar Natural Essential Oil
Pine tar is not very well known as a raw material used in perfumery. Pine tar is created by heating and compressing pine wood at high temperatures, separating the burnt wood (charcoal) and tar oil. This tar oil is further steam distilled to extract only the aromatic components. Refined tar oil has almost no allergens compared to regular pine tar and birch tar oils. Enjoy the smoky aroma.
