01
Preparing the Ingredients
Preparations | Pigment powder, Ornamental Plaster Powder, Olive Liquid (for plaster), Natural Oval Silicone Mold (4-Cavities), Water, Fragrance oil, Ribbon, Scale, Spatula, Paper cup, Plastic container
02
Measuring the Fragrance Oil
Weigh 4g for fragrance oil and 8g for olive liquid.
(The mixing ratio of fragrance oil and olive liquid is recommended to be 1:2.)
03
Mixing the Oil
Use a glass rod to mix well in one direction for about 1 minute to mix the fragrance oil and olive liquid well.
(Olive Liquid is a solubilizer and helps the oil and plaster paste to mix well.)
04
Weighing the Plaster Powder
Weigh 106g of Ornamental Plaster Powder in a plastic container.
05
Weighing the Pigment Powder
Measuring the Pigment Powder oxide green and brown color appropriately and put into the Ornamental Plaster Powder.
06
Mixing the Powder
Close the plastic container and shake up and down to evenly distribute the pigment powder. To avoid coloring not evenly, loosen the pigment powder as much as possible to not clump.
07
Measuring the Water
Weigh 31g of water in a new paper cup.
08
Making the Plaster Dough
Pour the plaster powder mixed with the pigment powder into the measured water, and stir with the spatula to mix them evenly.
09
Adding Olive Liquid and Fragrance Oil
Adding the pre-mixed fragrance oil and olive liquid to the plaster dough and stir thoroughly for about 1 minute to combine all the ingredients to form a dough.
10
Pouring into the Mold
After checking that there are no foreign substances in the prepared silicone mold, pour the prepared plaster dough into the mold.
11
Removing Air Bubbles 1
Gently drop the mold from top to bottom so that the plaster dough goes all the way down and the top is flat.
Repeat several times as the impact will cause the bubble to rise up.
12
Removing Air Bubbles 2
Tap the side to evenly distribute the plaster dough throughout the mold to remove air bubbles from the inside.
(Air pressure is sometimes used to remove air bubbles to prevent air bubbles from forming on the surface.)
13
Demolding
When the plaster has completely hardened, please demold it from the mold.
14
Hanging the Ribbon
Cut the ribbon to an appropriate length and hang it on the plaster hole.DIY ITEMS
