Creating a Taper Candle [Left - PC Taper Right - Mini PC Taper]
02-1. Attach the wick and apply release agentAfter inserting the wick into the wick hole, use ZAC Mold Sealer to cover and seal the wick hole to prevent hot wax from leaking out. After securing the wick, spray the inside of the mold with release agent. The release agent forms a thin, grease-like film that helps the candle release easily from the mold.
02-2. Weighing and Melting Wax
* You will need approximately 60 grams of wax per PC taper mold. For 2 molds, measure out and melt 120 grams of CW Pillar Blend wax.
* Approximately 15 grams of wax is needed per mini PC taper mold.To make 25 pieces, measure out and melt 375 grams of CW Pillar Blend Wax.
02-3. Coloring
Use oil-soluble liquid dyes, color blocks, pigment chips, etc. to create the desired color for your application.
* Pictured here, we used red fat-soluble liquid dye (left) and hunter green fat-soluble liquid dye (right)
to make PC taper candles.
02-4. Mixing Fragrance Oils
When the wax is about 80-85 degrees, add the fragrance oil at 10% by volume and blend well for about 1 minute.* PC Taper Candle: 12 grams of Red White Cinnamon fragrance oil per 120 grams of wax
* Mini taper candle: 37.5 g of “Warm Milk Tea in a Fireside Blanket” fragrance oil per 375 g of wax
02-5. Pouring Wax
Pour the wax with the added fragrance oil into the mold when the temperature is about 75-85 degrees.Use the wick clip to secure the wick to the center of the mold by gently pulling on the wick.
02-6. Demolding
After the wax has completely hardened, remove the mold sealer just before demolding.Make sure the mold is cool enough to handle, then gently press down on the side of the mold with your hand
to create an air gap before demolding.

Completing an Event Candle with Filmless Water Transfer Paper
03-1. Design and Filmless Water Transfer PaperAfter you've designed the text you want, print it out using filmless transfer paper. When cutting the transfer paper, leave an allowance of 1-2 mm from the outline of the printed text.
(Laser Printer > Print Settings > Select Thick Paper)
03-2. Prepare The Filmless Water Transfer Paper
Place the cut Filmless Water Transfer Paper under water for about 30 seconds.Carefully separate the paper part of the transfer paper from the transfer paper.
03-3. Paste The Transcription To Finish
After the transfer paper has been applied to the fully hardened candle surface, gently rub the transfer paper in an outward motion to release air bubbles and make it adhere.
Be careful not to rub the printed area, as this may cause the print to peel off.
Once the surface is dry, you're done.
03-4. Creating a Production
The finished Event Taper Candle utilizes a Tabriz Brass Candle Holder. The PC Taper Candle burns at a graduated rate to provide warmth,
while the Mini PC Taper Candle burns at a rate of one per day to bring holiday cheer to your space.
