Measuring Natural Essential Oils

Most room sprays are made with a fragrance concentration of 8-10%.However, for pillow mists, which are sprayed on fabrics such as pillows and bedding that come into direct contact with the skin, it is recommended to lower the fragrance concentration to 2-3%.(This DIY content was created with a 3% fragrance concentration using a 50ml Pisa Black bottle.)

Perfume Base (48.5g) : Natural Essential Oils (1.5g) First, place a beaker on a precision scale and reset it to zero,
then measure 0.68g of Lavender Bulgaria natural essential oil.Next, reset the scale to zero again and measure 0.22g of Roman Chamomile natural essential oil.Finally, reset the scale one more time and measure 0.6g of Bergamot natural essential oil.
Lavender Bulgaria: 45% (0.68g)
Lavender is highly effective in relieving tension, calming the mind, and promoting restful sleep.It makes up about 50% of the total blend, providing the main fragrance.

Roman Chamomile: 15% (0.22g)
Roman Chamomile has excellent calming and relaxing properties, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.Blending it with Lavender promotes deeper sleep.

Bergamot: 40% (0.6g)
Bergamot helps alleviate stress and stabilizes mood.Since it has a lighter scent, the concentration is kept lower to complement the other oils.
Natural ingredients that help promote restful sleep and relaxation can be used individually,but if you want a richer scent, it is recommended to blend different notes of oils for a more balanced fragrance.

Weighing the Perfume Base

Using a glass beaker of 100ml, measure 48.5g of the perfume base (which doubles as a room spray).(Based on a 50ml perfume container)

* Perfume bases and fragrance oils have different specific gravities of water (the relative ratio to the density of the substance they are based on), which means that when converted to the unit of weight, grams, they differ from ml.
We recommend using beaker ml measurements to accurately measure into containers.

** Depending on the fragrance power and viscosity of the incense, the mixing ratio may vary.Before mass production, it is recommended to refer to IFRA documents to check the fragrance rate.

Mixing (Aging)

Using a glass rod, stir well for about 1 minute to combine the fragrance and perfume base. In a freshly finished pillow mist, the aroma of alcohol can be strong. For a soft, mature, stable scent, store in an airtight container for about 2 weeks, then We recommend you to use it. If you stir it once every day, the aroma will be rounded. You can enjoy a smoother, richer scent.
* The perfume base (which doubles as a room spray) contains a variety of auxiliary ingredients such as tea agents to block light, and some precipitation may occur over time when it reacts with the fragrance. There may be deviations depending on the scent, which is not a foreign substance, but in order to make it completely clean, it is recommended to filter it once after 1 week of mixing and then put it in a perfume container.

Serve in a Perfume Glass

Use a mini funnel to place the finished pillow mist in a stable PISA Black 50 perfume glass.

Fixing the Spray

Cut the spray nozzle diagonally from the shoulder line of the perfume vial, slightly longer than the bottom. Fixing the spray nozzle to the perfume container can be easily done using the "Perfume Bottle Capping Machine 3 in 1".

Completing

Decorate the finished pillow mist with a label and finish with a special perfume box and ribbon.

*In the photo, "Black French Parfum Label (Small)" and "Abec Lilac Print Ribbon (16mm/1 roll)" are used.

** If the fragrance used has a color, it is recommended to spray it away from the atmosphere to avoid contact with the fibers.
