CW Liquid Silicone for Mold Making

We recommend this liquid for those who want to make their handmade silicone molds.
CW Liquid Silicone is translucent color,
so you can check the color of candles and plaster after making.

Since the semi-transparent color liquid silicone (A) and silicone hardener (B) are stirred,
please stir well enough before making the mold.

Point 1. Product Composition

CW Liquid Silicone is sold in sets of 1 kg for A (Liquid Silicone) and 1 kg for B (Silicone Hardener), for a total of 2 kg.

Point 2. Silicone Information and Curing Agent Agitation Ratio

Hardness: 15
* Refers to the strength and softness of the finished mold itself. With a hardness of 15, it has moderate softness and elasticity rather than very soft.
Color: Translucent
* After finishing with translucent color, it can be produced while checking the color sense of toned candles and plaster ornaments.
Mixing ratio: 1:1
Mixed viscosity: 1700 ~ 2300
* It means the viscosity when stirring the silicone, and it is slightly thicker than cooking oil.
Elongation: 700
* Elongation is a measure of the elongation of the finished mold as a percentage. It is soft and durable among silicones with hardness.
Pot life : 30 ~ 40 minutes (at 25 °C)
* Pot life refers to the stirring time for mixing and pouring the liquid silicone and silicone hardener, even beginners can work slowly.
Curing time: 3-4 hours (at 25 °C)
* It hardens quickly in summer because it is hot and hardens slowly in winter because of the low temperature. Because it is affected by temperature, working at an appropriate temperature is recommended.
Shrinkage rate: almost none (below 01%)

Point 3. Finished Silicone

It is translucent colored silicone that retains moderate softness. You can easily demold candles or gypsum from the mold with easy-to-use hardness and elongation after making a handmade mold.
