01
Prepare Materials
Materials |Slim Round Diffuser Glass 100, Alcohol-Free Diffuser Base, Fragrance Oil (Rosewood & Musk, Botanical Shower, Morning Light, Muguet), Glass Beaker 250ml, Black Diffuser Fiber Sticks (3mm x 25cm), White Diffuser Fiber Sticks (3mm x 25cm), Thick Black Diffuser Fiber Sticks (8mm x 16cm), Precision Pocket Scale for Classes (0.01g/500g), Glass Rod, Fragrant Breeze Label (Large)
02
Measuring the Alcohol-Free Diffuser Base
Before making your diffuser, wash the diffuser glass container and the beaker you will be using. Pour a small amount of ethanol or alcohol-free diffuser base into the container and swirl it around to rinse the inside thoroughly before use.※ Rinsing the container with diffuser base can help prevent cloudiness when mixing in the fragrance oil.
The Slim Round Diffuser Glass 100 can hold approximately 95 g of liquid.
For this recipe, the diffuser base and fragrance oil are mixed at a 7:3 ratio. Use 66.5 g of diffuser base and 28.5 g of fragrance oil. Place the glass beaker on the scale and tare the scale. Then measure out 66.5 g of alcohol-free diffuser base.
* Depending on the desired fragrance intensity, the ratio of diffuser base to fragrance oil can be adjusted to 3:1 or up to 2:1.
03
Measuring the Fragrance Oil
Place the glass beaker containing the diffuser base on the scale and tare it. Then measure out 28.5 g of fragrance oil and add it to the beaker.
* In this example, Botanical Shower Fragrance Oil was used.
04
Mixing
Using a glass rod, stir the fragrance oil and diffuser base thoroughly for 1 to 2 minutes until they are fully combined.
05
Filling the Diffuser
Pour the finished diffuser mixture into the diffuser container. For a more stable and well-rounded scent, we recommend letting the diffuser mixture rest for approximately two weeks before use.
06
Finishing Touches
Apply a label that complements your diffuser container to complete your personalized diffuser.* The Fragrant Breeze label was used in this example. Before use, adjust the length of the diffuser reeds to match the height of the container, then place the reeds into the diffuser.
